We collect the minimum amount of information needed to create, store, and share your personalized storybooks. We collect:

• Account details, such as your name, email address, and password, when you create an account.

• Story details you enter while creating a book, such as your child's name, age, and story preferences.

• Reference photos you upload to personalize the illustrations.

• Payment information, which is handled by a third-party processor. We never store full card numbers.

• Usage data, such as pages visited, features used, device type, and approximate location.

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the service, including:

• Generating and illustrating your personalized storybooks.

• Managing your account, orders, and subscriptions.

• Processing payments and sending order confirmations.

• Responding to support requests and resolving issues.

• Improving the service, fixing bugs, and detecting abuse.

• Sending service updates and, where you have agreed, occasional marketing.

Your reference photos are used solely to generate your books. They are never added to a shared or public gallery, never used to train models used by other users, and are deleted when you delete them from your account or on request. You can remove a photo at any time from the book creation flow.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the service may not work as well without them.

• Service providers. We share data with vendors who help us operate the service, such as hosting, payment processing, and customer support. They may only use your data to provide their services to us.

• Legal obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

• Business transfers. If StoryWonderBook is merged, sold, or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the service, fulfill orders, and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account and associated stories at any time. After deletion, we remove or anonymize your data unless we are required to keep it by law.

StoryWonderBook is designed for adults to create books for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. Reference photos and story details are supplied by you, the account holder. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

• Access, correct, or update your account information at any time.

• Delete your account, photos, and stories. Deletion is permanent.

• Export or download the books you have created.

• Opt out of marketing emails while continuing to receive service messages.

• Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under local law, such as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or within the service. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
